Since the 1960´s furniture designer Hans J. Wegner and PP Furniture collaborated on the development and production of some of Wegner´s most famous designs. Today PP manages the production of many of the classic Wegner chairs. Amongst these the Round Chair, today best known simply as The Chair. The Chair first received international acclaim when in 1961 it was used in the televised presidential debate between Richard Nixon and John F. Kennedy.
This poster was designed in honour of The Chair and in recognition of the historic event in which it came to play a part.
