Identity and signage for the cultural center Valby Kulturhus, Copenhagen
Valby Kulturhus is the cultural center of the western part of Copenhagen. Though being located in an impressive old building, the cultural center appeared somewhat anonymous from the outside. Our main challenge was therefore to help it present itself more visible.
Historical research indicated that the area around the Valby Kulturhus once was a paint factory. This inspired the studio to design a colourful graphic concept, consisting of big and bold interior and exterior signage.
