HNG annual report design, containing the art work of Ursula Reuter Christiansen
Every year HNG Midt-Nord Salg A/S and HNG Midt-Nord Handel A/S publishes its economic figures, with each annual edition of the report containing illustrations from a particular contemporary Danish artist. This has a been a company tradition and the artist's expression has the effect of characterising and softening potentially dry economic data. The illustrations take their inspiration from Giuseppe Verdi's opera La Traviata, which was the summer opera in Hedeland, Denmark during August of 2010. The reports are also seen as an opportunity to use different printing methods for the artist's work. Ursula Reuter Christiansen's seven images and cover were heliographies in seven colours.
